Good morning.
Welcome to Friday, readers. The SFDB Weekend Widget is waiting for you in the right sidebar and we're ready to being the best day of the week. Here's your morning Sift.
A- It's all about the cars this weekend for Bark Bark Woof Woof.
This weekend is the national winter meet of the Antique Automobile Club of America in Lakeland, Florida, and the Pontiac has been entered in the Driver Participation Class. This is its first official show as an antique, and while it will not be judged and accorded points for restoration, it will be evaluated for its overall condition and authenticity; which, if I may say so (and thanks in large part to the good people at A Auto Tech), is pretty damn good.B- Carlos Miller is considering hanging it up unless he can find a way to make his blog profitable.
I want nothing more than to continue running this site, but I would like it to make enough money where I could hire a staff writer or two to really increase the quality of content.
But I need to make a living. I need to survive. I need to pay off debts and build up savings.

B - I think posts like this are pretty funny when there are guys like Rick at SFDB who put out at least 2x the content on a daily basis without whining how they need to get paid to keep it up. Bottom line is this - no one asked you to start a blog. You did so to share your experiences. If you stop, the world will go on. The sense of entitlement that some bloggers have is pure comedy. You want to make a living? Go get a job where someone hires you with the intent of paying you for a service that they need performed.
