Your Morning Sift

Good morning.

Is it Wednesday already? Yee hah. I'll have the Post of the Week selection and a bunch of other entertaining posts for you later today here at SFDB. Shall we begin with your morning Sift?

A- Go Hydrology! graphically takes a look at dry season rains.

B- Political Cortadito wants a 3rd part candidate, namely libertarian Roger Stone, to run for Florida governor.
Too bad. Ladra likes him. And it’s not just because of the Richard Nixon tattoo he got on his back in California in 2007, homage to one of his first political gigs: adviser to post-White House Nixon. Stone is fresh and on point and says what he thinks without worrying what others may think. He’s natural and accessible and doesn’t dodge questions. He’s smart and Ladra, a card-carrying Independent, likes the idea of a stronger third party.
C- The Miami Bike Scene has a stolen bike alert for a cycle that should be pretty easy to spot if the thieves don't change the rims.

D- Eye on Miami contemplates which South Florida defense attorney they would use if they needed one.
If I had my choice, I would pick Ben Kuehne for my defense over Coffey. Sorry Kendall, you did represent Natacha Seijas. That subtracts about 3 points. Subtract another point for your last name, I drink tea.
E- The Reid Report discusses last night's Big Swig.

F- Bark Bark Woof Woof shares his thoughts about last night's State of the Union speech.
All in all, I’ll give him an A- for style, a B+ for substance, and since there were no strange outbursts from the gallery, an A- for decorum.
