MIAMI (CBS4) – The Miami Dade Police Department has fired a sergeant and two officers for dereliction of duty and suspended three others without pay in what is considered one of the worst incidents of delinquency in the department’s history.B- CBS4: And another one.
The accusations vary against each officer, but they include: failing to respond to emergency calls, pretending to be on calls when they weren’t, and falsifying police records.
SUNRISE (CBSMiami) – Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a driver who hit a man on a bicycle in Sunrise and sped off.C- NBC Miami: That was one expensive beer.
Sunday night, just after 9 p.m., police received a call about a man lying in the swale in front of a residence in the 2100 block of Sunset Strip.
When Sunrise police and Fire-Rescue personnel arrived they found the body of 49-year old John Quintal. A bicycle that was next to him had damage to it.

STUART, Fla. — A Stuart man was charged with aggravated assault after ramming a woman's car and forcing her off the road, according to a Martin County Sheriff's Office arrest affidavit.
The woman said Farro tried to ram her car with a Ford Ranger several times as she entered the development where she lives, the affidavit states.
She got inside her home, but did not feel safe, so she left again in her car, it states.
Farro fell in behind her and tried to ram her car and run her off the road several more times before he was stopped by authorities at Southeast Monterey Road and Southeast Kanner Highway in Stuart, the affidavit states.
