A- HuffPo: LeBron stands alone.

On Tuesday Night against the Portland Trailblazers LeBron put up 30 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks. That line is impressive, but it is even more impressive when one takes into account that he shot 11 of 15 from the floor and 7 of 8 from the free throw line.

It was the sixth straight game that LeBron scored 30 or more points and shot better than 60 percent from the floor.

That puts LeBron in a class with... no one.

Yes, LeBron stands alone. No NBA player, not Kobe, not Magic, not Larry, not MJ, not West and not Wilt. No one has ever shot better than 60 percent while scoring 30 or more points in six consecutive games.

B- HuffPo: More Rubio hypocrisy.

WASHINGTON -- After President Barack Obama suggested raising the minimum wage to $9 per hour in his State of the Union speech, rising Republican star Sen. Marco Rubio (Fla.) quickly joined other prominent GOP lawmakers in denouncing the proposal as bad policy.

"I want people to make a lot more than $9," Rubio said Wednesday. "Nine dollars is not enough. The problem is that you can't do that by mandating it in the minimum wage laws. Minimum wage laws have never worked in terms of helping the middle class attain more prosperity."

"I don't think a minimum wage law works," he said flatly.

Indeed, years ago, Rubio seems to have recognized the importance of such laws in protecting the working poor. According to Florida press reports from 2003, when Rubio was a state lawmaker, he supported a proposal that would ramp up penalties on agricultural growers whose laborers weren't paid the legal minimum wage.

C- Palm Beach Post: 'Bout time.

The National Weather Service forecasts the front pushes into the area late Saturday, clearing skies and dropping temperatures significantly by Sunday morning.

Those temperatures will range from the lower and mid-30s around Lake Okeechobee to mid-40s to near 50 degrees along our coast. But there will be a brisk north wind of 10 to 15 mph which will make it feel more like the mid-30s and maybe 40s.

Sunday afternoon’s high in West Palm Beach is forecast near 63 degrees.

D- CBS4: Gross.

CBS4 Investigates discovered nearly a dozen different germs lurking on the tops of 20-soda cans during a random test. We checked out groceries, gas stations, restaurants, universities and vending machines. We found this soda can in a Doral gas station with dark soot on the top.

F- CBS4: Big expansion plans at Dadeland.

(CBSMiami) – Simon Property Group, Inc. (NYSE:SPG), announced Thursday the names of 18 retailers and restaurants that will be added to Dadeland Mall this year in the mall’s newest expansion.

The two-story addition to the shopping center will add 102,000 square feet of restaurants and retailers.

G- NBC Miami: Life in South Florida.

Four years ago, Fernandez spent three months building a life-size elephant in his backyard -- and no, it's not stuffed. It's made of chicken wire, rebar and cement.

"Once he brought it to the front yard, he literally just said, 'It's in the front. It's done. I can die a happy man.' And he was exhausted from pulling it to the front, but he loves it," Fernandez's daughter, Damaris, said.
