SFDB's A Few Moments At The Lake Worth Street Painting Festival

It was hot as blazes late yesterday morning, but the artists were out and so were the masses at the Lake Worth Street Painting Festival. Fortunately, it wasn't as crowded as it has been in previous years. Unfortunately, rain had moved through the area sometime late yesterday or last night and had literally washed away the work that wasn't covered.

Here are my observations...

Like I said, the masses were out...

I have to give the artists a lot of credit for working under the blazing sun.

This artist had come all the way from California to participate.

There was a fair amount of Star Wars themed art, for some reason.

3-D stuff screws with your mind...

Gorgeous.

Lots of solutions for relief from the sun, but everything wound up with chalk on it.

All my photos from yesterday can be seen here and Palm Beach TV station WPTV has a 125-photo slideshow up.
