If a former Navy SEAL sharpshooter who was called "the most deadly sniper in U.S. history"
is unable to adequately defend himself at a gun range, how can we expect a security guard to effectively defend hundreds of students in a large public school?
RIP, Chris Kyle. A Big Man who served his country well.

Words cannot describe how vulgar this post of Rick's is.
Keep in mind that Rick has been on a hate fueled rampage against the NRA and its policies of late, policies which include promoting an armed security presence at schools.
1. Chris Kyle was an active promoter of arming school teachers, and in fact, was personally involved in training Texas School teachers. You can hear Chris himself talk about this at 1:49 in the following video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llLVMUlDpaE
2. Chris Kyle was a life member of the NRA. His body is hardly cold and Rick uses it to make a political point diametrically opposed to Kyle's deeply held beliefs.
“After I left the military, I needed to be able to show I am 100 percent in favor of our right to keep and bear arms. Joining the NRA [as a life member] was the best way to show I care about gun rights.”
http://www.shootingillustrated.com/index.php/21186/an-american-hero/
3. We don't know exactly how Kyle was shot at this time.
4. Rick has declared his own media blackout on the events last week in Atlanta where an armed guard at a school successfully interdicted an active shooter.
Posts like this are just further proof of what fauxgressives are really all about.
Oh, stop with your hysterics, Jewish Marksman.
Chris Kyle was American that we all can only hope to be. He also was a member of the same military you vow to defend your stash of guns from, should the need arise. If you had to, you would fire upon guys like Chris Kyle...according to you.
Take your faux outrage, JM, and try to channel that energy into some rational thought for once. You know, where you aren't barricaded in your residence taking on the U.S. Government and saving America from tyranny.
As if.
.
"He also was a member of the same military you vow to defend your stash of guns from"
Rick, did you even watch the video of Kyle I linked to? He explicitly stated that he and his friends would never seize American's arms. You don't even respect the guy enough to watch the video? Wow. I didn't think you could stick your foot any deeper down your throat but you just did.
"Take your faux outrage, JM"
It's genuine Rick, I assure you. This was truly your most vile post ever, and it is really an insult to Chris that after I pointed out his video to you, that you don't even take your post down.
Maybe you didn't know about Chris's views or his involvement in training armed teachers and staunch belief in that concept. It happens. Admit you put your foot in your mouth and take down the post, like a human being with a shred of decency and honor. Or don't, and let people draw their own conclusions about your motives.
"where you aren't barricaded in your residence taking on the U.S. Government and saving America from tyranny"
I actually spend little time at my residence, and move about freely and confidently in this great country and great state of Florida that sees fit to allow me to concealed carry.
I'm not taking on the US Government, and never have. I do take on fauxgressive proto-fascists like you, Rick.
I guess you misunderstood me, JM. I meant that you have stated in the past that you intend to fight anyone, including the military, who came to your residence to confiscate your guns. You have also said that a "motivated rifleman" could stave off said military and used the Syrians as an example. I have no doubt that you "move about freely and confidently" but stand ready to defend your cache of weapons from the military, government or anyone else who comes to get it. At least you said so here...many times.
Nothing to dodge there, JM. There are plenty out there like you.
.
"Nothing to dodge there, JM. There are plenty out there like you."
Umm..."as if". Earlier today I was in a shooting competition, where 80% of the shooters (my buddies) were either active and retired LEO and/or former military. Same group that welcomes civilians training and competing with so-called "assault weapons" with open arms. If you think my views on civilian disarmament are extreme...
You really have no clue about American gun owners. You just keep getting your biased info spoon-fed from you by your moveon.org handlers, and you see what you want to see.
You won't even bring yourself to watch the Chris Kyle video because it will open your eyes to what the military and LEOs sworn to protect you actually think about your views on gun control. That really scares you fauxgressives, doesn't it.
P.S. Since I know you live it when I flatter myself, I did win several stages in the competition. But I'm sure it was just dumb luck because, you know, a civilian like me can't know anything about guns and is lucky if he doesn't shoot himself just looking at a gun.
You and your buddy, GFZ, somehow have gotten this impression that I don't like guns (or don't even own any) because I'm not ready to take on my government, declare war on my fellow Americans or deem my fellow Americans "my enemies" simply because they are tired of kids getting killed by military style rifles.
Anyone who is ready to go to war against the government is obviously pretty sure of himself, so it doesn't surprise me that you like to talk about how proficient you are at shooting at stationary targets. Do you like to "pretend" like GFZ?
You're motivated, JM, and I'm sure you would give that platoon of infantrymen or police department a great fight from your 2nd story bedroom window for about 5 minutes.
You go, boy.
.
Chris Kyle and men like him never have been and never will be "my enemies". You, and the petty little fascists like you are.
Funny how the post was about Chris Kyle, and all you can do is attack and demonize me. You can't even bring yourself to use his name now that I've called you out.
I've read some things about Chris Kyle, and seen him interviewed several times, including the link above. Seems to me he would not have shared your views on gun control, to put it mildly. Non-trivial chance he'd punch you in the face (see Jesse Ventura).
"You're motivated, JM, and I'm sure you would give that platoon of infantrymen or police department a great fight from your 2nd story bedroom window for about 5 minutes. You go, boy."
Just another comment that shows how sick and perverted you are. You can't win on logic and reason, so you and your ilk need your Sandy Hooks, you need your Wacos, you need your dead Chris Kyles. You need to demonize every gun owner and portray them as David Koresh. You can't win otherwise.
Keep showing your true face Rick. I love it when you do.
I'm just repeating your words, JM. You find them offensive? So do I. So do most Americans. So do all the other Americans that you and the NRA have declared war on and consider their enemy.
Every gun owner isn't David Koresh or Ted Nugent or even you, JM. It's useful to know who they are, though. And thanks to the library of comments that you've dropped here naming your enemies and the people you plan on defending your guns from, we do.
I don't demonize anyone. I let them do that themselves. And they always do.
.
Just to show you how delusional you are, Rick, I've never made any such comments. I've never said I would take up arms against anyone. I've never said I would defend my privately owned firearms with force against the government, you or anyone else. I've never said those things, because it's the ultimate and last resort that no real American ever wants to see happen, and something that should not even be seriously discussed until each and every other political option and compromise has been exhausted. Oh, I'm sure you want to read all kinds of meaning into "Every Jew a .22!" and chase your ghosts and phantoms.
I know people like you Rick, you have so many personal demons that you see enemies and hate in everyone, because you are so full of so much hate yourself. You hear Ted Nugent in every gun owner no matter what the person is actually saying.
And speaking of Ted Nugent, based on the Chris Kyle video (which I'm sure you've watched by now), how were Chris's views any different from Ted's? Wouldn't surprise me the list bit if Ted and Chris met at some point and got along handsomely.
"I don't demonize anyone. I let them do that themselves. And they always do."
So man up Rick. Did Chris Kyle "demonize" himself in that video link I gave you?
Because his views are my views.
P.S. You really need to be assigned a new handler. Your current handler is a complete nincompoop. This is like taking candy from a baby.
OK, so here's the deal.
If I go back and find any comment that you've dropped that indicates that you're ready to defend your stash of weapons from confiscation, then you're done here. Your comments from that point on will be deleted and you won't be able to comment at SFDB any longer.
I do this, not because I don't want the debate, because I do. I like the back and forth. But I will not debate someone who blatantly denies reality, whether it comes in the form of polls or comments that they've dropped in the past.
We've done the polls already so now I'm ready to do the comments.
So...should I start looking?
.
"whether it comes in the form of polls"
a. I never actually presented my evidence of conflicting polls. Instead, I argued that opinion polls are irrelevant vis-a-vis constitutional rights, which was the subject of your post at the time. The concept was over your head, you were out of your league, so you just assumed I was lying.
b. If you want a poll, here you go:
http://www.politico.com/story/2012/12/poll-51-percent-dont-want-gun-ban-85512.html
http://reason.com/poll/2013/01/31/poll-americans-especially-young-ones-say
c. As for expanded background checks and enforcement of existing laws, nobody argues that public sentiment supports that, which is precisely what the NRA is saying. But gun bans have people on the fence.
Yawn. Next?
"any comment that you've dropped that indicates that you're ready to defend your stash of weapons from confiscation"
I've done and said all manner of things to defend my legally owned firearms from confiscation. I've joined the NRA and a host of other firearms groups. I've written my political representatives, and willingly engaged in debate with anyone who will listen (and even those who wont). I've recruited for the NRA, taught friends to shoot. And I'll unashamedly promote the notion among my Jewish brothers and sisters, that our history teaches us to be armed and prepared to defend ourselves.
But I've never had a James Yeager moment (who by the way I like and admire, and who also by the way, has apologized for his emotional reaction and call to arms).
But Ricky, let's be honest. You want me gone because I've shown your readers what a phony you are. You'll find a way to ban me no matter what.
And you know what, after the manner in which you've danced on Chris Kyle's grave, despite knowing his views on gun control, a day after his death even....it would truly be an honor to be banned from your blog.
So, I take that as a "yes." You want me to search.
Right?
.
So I'll ask again: yes or no, do you want me to search?
.
Well said Rick.
Do you really want to take on a crazy guy with guns?
Okay, JM, since you won't answer the question I assume you're throwing in the towel and admitting that you have, indeed, said that you're ready to go to war against the government or anyone else who comes to get your guns, as I've alleged...and have documented.
Fine.
We've resolved this with your admission.
And I think I've definitely proved that you are an abject liar...or at least someone who makes mistakes and does not admit when he's wrong. You have absolutely no credibility on anything here because everything you say is suspect.
I know you don't care...and that's fine.
But I do. And so do my readers. So keep that in mind when you go spouting off about, well, anything. It's worth nothing. I hope it's treated as such.
.
"We've resolved this with your admission. And I think I've definitely proved that you are an abject liar."
You're fooling nobody.
1) With respect to the existence of polls showing the majority of Americans do not support an assault weapons ban, which you say is a lie, I posted links to the polls above, and stand by my statement that the polls on my side or your side are both irrelevant with respect to constitutional analysis, which was the subject of the post you got your panties all in a bunch about.
2) With respect to alleged statements that I will "go to war" if someone tries to take my guns, I've never written it. Do I follow Uncle Ted on twitter, yes sir. James Yeager on youtube, yes sir. Do I also read your blog, yes sir. You probably don't remember Yeager's name, but he's the guy who did make a call to arms, then subsequently published retraction videos (which you you'll never bother to go view). That's what I mean when I said above I've never had my James Yeager moment.
"I know you don't care"
Why would I care what a person who dances on Chris Kyle's grave thinks? Btw. the news is coming out now that Kyle was probably working with his killer, another soldier with serious ptsd problems, using shooting as a form of recreational therapy that worked with other vets Kyle was helping on his own dime. I'm *guessing* that Kyle and the other gentleman decided to try to talk the vet down instead of put him down, and it didn't go well. There is nothing to suggest that "security guards don't work" as you suggest the Kyle murder proves, and again, it was an issue Kyle passionately believed in.
"you are ... someone who makes mistakes and does not admit when he's wrong"
Again, you have not mentioned Chris Kyle's name once since the original post, or apologized that perhaps if you had more information about him you would have seen the post was in poor taste. But you've left it up. Ever hear of projection, Rick?
Again, it would be an honor to be banned. Post these so called "call to arms" that I've made, and give me a chance to respond (or don't, you're right, I don't really care, you're going to take things out of context anyway).
All you have to do is answer the question, JM: Do you want me to search?
It's so simple and done with the understanding that if I find an example of what I'm claiming, you're done here.
You're so sure, JM. Why are so afraid to answer the question? What makes it so difficult?
Is it because you don't know if you said what you feel, what you believe and what you plan?
Yes or no, JM.
Be a big boy.
.
I think this exchange is proof positive that you have reading comprehension problems.
I posted the polls, you don't refute them, you just call me a liar despite the fact I prove the polls exist. I tell you to go ahead and search, you ask me if I want to search.
Here's one to get you started:
"Because, hey, liberals like to drink to[o] and you'll have to pry that chablis glass out of their cold dead hands..."
That one was a classic!
Thank you for finally stepping up, JM.
I have a quandary because I now have some folks emailing me and asking me not to bar you from commenting. They say that it's important to hear the extremism to remind them of what could be if Republicans were to return to power. One said that I need more of your kind here, if for no other reason than for "entertainment purposes."
I'll give you credit, JM, for going somewhere that your pals Pitbill and Gun Free Zone are too scared to tread. Those guys run from their own shadows. But you...you stand here and, well, lie...but you stand here, and that's worth something.
So, thus, I have been convinced that it serves the blog and its readers to allow you to continue to comment. That's not to say that my commenting policy is any less effective. Quite the contrary, as I will continue to vigorously enforce it against transgressors like yourself.
Tread lightly, JM. Leave no footprint.
.
Not so fast.
1. You called me a liar when I said I had seen polls that a majority of the public did not support an assault weapons ban. I posted links above to the pols on 2/3/13 8:49pm. That's the left cheek.
2. You accused me of inciting armed action against the federal government and that you have written proof. I deny it, and again you call me a liar. I demand to see the proof, then all of the sudden "some folks" tell you to drop it. That's the right cheek.
Now before we talk about what you can kiss, you threaten that you "will continue to vigorously enforce" your comment policy. That's interesting, because the topic that started this thread was Chris Kyle and school guards, and my initial comment on 2/3 and 3:42pm was directly on point.
So Ricky, unlike you, I don't go calling people liars unless I've already done my homework. So let's just say I'm *extremely* skeptical that emails from "some folks" exist, and suspect the truth is that you just can't deliver the goods.
And I'm still waiting for the answer to my question, Rick. Did you watch the Chris Kyle youtube video I linked to in my original comment? Have you learned more about the circumstances of his death? Do you still think your post was in good taste given his views on armed guards at schools? Or do you feel you don't even owe his memory that much?
The world isn't one way, Miguel, despite what you may think. I'm just returning the favor.
JM: "I think this exchange is proof positive that you have reading comprehension problems."
Dammit JM -- that's MY line about YOU! Don't I get a footnote? Or do I settle for Oscar Levant's axiom: "Copying is the sincerest form of plagiarism."
Rick: Do you miss Manuel yet?
So I guess not I get to play Rick's "admission by silence" card.
Rick:
1. Failed to respond to the polls I posted, thereby admitted that I never lied when I commented that I had seen polls indicating a majority of Americans do not favor banning semi-automatic rifles or magazine capacity.
2. Failed to produce evidence of my alleged manifesto for armed resistance, thereby admitting that no such "call to arms" was ever made by me despite his scandalous and defamatory allegations.
3. Repeatedly ignores direct inquiries regarding the appropriateness or depth of his Chris Kyle post, thereby through his silence admitting he, at best, acted too quickly in making the original post, but then is knowingly inconsiderate and disrespectful by failing to remove the post, edit it or update its content as appropriate.
4. Failed to produce evidence of emails from "folks" who oppose my being banned from the blog, which again, by Rick's standard of admission by silence, constitutes an admission that no such emails exist and were concocted as a cover for #2.
Again, you need a new moveon.org handler. I think your current one is not giving you the attention and assistance you really need. Or maybe he/she is on vacation?
