Your Evening Sift

It was a busy Friday today so I have an epic evening Sift for you. Enjoy your Friday nights, readers, and don't forget I also have the SFDB Weekend Widget in the right sidebar. Have fun.

A- The Chowfather is bowled over by the Design District's MC Kitchen.
Food lovers should run to MC Kitchen and Italian food lovers should be sitting there right now.
B- Looks like Product/81 has joined the rest of the West of Wynwood (WoW) crowd...at Culture Designers.
Fortunately for us, we’ve got some fresh new digs over in the Wynwood West compound shared by Butter Gallery, Spinello Gallery and Wynwood Radio among others.
C- A $55 million penthouse in Sunny Isles? Yep, says Curbed Miami.
The apartment comes with a stupifying list of features, including a pivoting entry wall, reflecting pool in the living room, nearly 100 foot long master suite, disappearing glass walls, a 25 foot waterfall, two outdoor kitchens, cantilevered glass bottomed swimming pool and jacuzzi, indoor/outdoor screening room, a glass 'wine gallery', private spa with hydrotherapy pools, circular glass elevator, grand staircase, 6 bedrooms, and staff quarters for 3.
D- Meet SeanWasHere.

E- On Two Shores compares and contrasts the fresh, common sense Cuba policy offered up by the newly elected Joe Garcia and the tired and out-dated views of Ileana Ros-Lehtinen.

F- Florida Keys Girl's visit to Sea Grill in North Miami Beach sounds like a real pain in the as*.
No problem, we were told, and we would be seated shortly somewhere where we might be able to talk to the people at our own table. Forty five minutes and a massive lack-of-food-and-throbbing-music headache later, we were seated. At a table with no place settings. It was 9:30 at night and proving to be completely annoying. I could only hope that the food was decent at this point.
G- Burger Beast enjoyed his trip to Tap 42 in Fort Lauderdale.
No shocking news here but I ordered the “Prohibition” Burger (Cheddar Cheese, Bacon & Special Sauce) and I discarded the Lettuce, Tomato, & Onion. This dude also comes with Fries and a side of Ketchup. Once the offenders were removed I was able to enjoy the Burger. Tap 42 has their own meat blend which was seasoned perfectly. But even more than that, the grind was great. It was on the verge of being crumbly which I happen to love.
H- Redland Rambles shows you what to expect in your CSA share this week.

I- Transit Miami posts the details of the Bear Cut Bridge shutdown on the Rickenbacker.

J- Take a look at January's event schedule at Sweat.

K- Food for Thought finishes his Best Dishes of 2012 series with Part III.
These retrospectives are always something of a learning experience for me, an opportunity to reflect on what I really enjoyed and why. But I'll save my deeper thoughts on a year in food for another post, and stick with the food porn here.
L- Bark Bark Woof Woof has found The Constitution According To The NRA.
