A- A Miami realtor really liked the Grove area for Miami's "next great neighborhood", according to Curbed Miami.

The Grove is one of the few neighborhoods in Miami that still shares gardens with peacocks, hummingbirds and other avian varieties. The Gables has its share of wildlife, too, including a wide array of fish, birds and even manatees. What was once considered a boring neighborhood has been transformed into an epicenter of activity from cycling to running, to boating to paddle boarding to canoeing - the quality of life is truly one of the best Miami offers.

B- All of a sudden, Gun Free Zone is against the 2nd Amendment and wants people to be prosecuted for possession of high capacity magazines.

C- Long Play Miami is tracking a couple films about the R&B music scene in Miami back in the day.

Not one but two documentary films are currently in production about Miami, based on the protagonists of the soul music scene of the 60s and 70s. One film, Deep City – The Birth of the Miami Sound, is focused on the first black record company in Florida – Deep City Records – and covers the period from 1964 – 1968 when the Miami-based company produced soul recordings that still resonate today.

On two occasions, yes TWICE, have I had a car actually stop to let me cross with the kids. The real fat kicker: BOTH of these times that we were waved across, here comes maniac driver PUNCHING the gas to quickly go around the stopped car letting us cross! Hello SCREAMS, FREAK OUT, FREEZ IN SHOES WHICH WAY DO I PULL THE WAGON, SLAM ON BREAKS, KIDS CRYING, WE ALMOST DIED moment.

But whatever you feel about Chief Expo and Crazy Joe, you gotta admit one thing: Doral is making some funky decisions. If the tiny town was ignored before, it sure is getting on the political map now: In the insanity neighborhood.
