Worst: U.S. Senator Marco Rubio somehow weasels out of the stench of his BFF David Rivera.

B- Happy New Year from SeanWasHere.

C- Arterpillar has the 411 on the next big event going on at Young at Art in Davie.

Annual Interest will feature a fundraising raffle with more than 50 contemporary artists, a multimedia interactive art exhibition where guests can participate in a recording session or activities involving ceramics, printmaking and digital photography, and No.1, a group art show co-curated by Zack Spechler and Rory Carracino.

D- Food for Thought posts Part 1 of his 45 Best Dishes of 2012.

Since I've got no editor here, my own use of the red pencil has been minimal: I've "pared" the list for 2012 down to 45, which I'll present here in three posts. These are not ranked, but instead are listed chronologically. I've included links to the restaurants as well as links to my posts on them, together with excerpts of my earlier comments on each.

E- Check out the top to bottom renovation work that South Florida Guy has been doing on a fixer upper house that he recently purchased.

I expect to drop about $50K on this renovation. So far I've spent $15,000.00 on the roof. I got a quote to do the bedroom ceiling of $1,500.00 so I did it myself for $100.00 in drywall an $170.00 for a drywall jack. Another $500.00 or so in paint, patch, and parts at Home Depot. The new AC goes in next week. Another $3000.00. There will be a lot of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches between now and the end of this project.
