Two of those voting against this aid, Ted Yoho and Ron DeSantis, were from Florida. Not surprisingly, they hail from districts in North Florida. I think it's important that we all know their names, what they look like and who they are.

| Ted Yoho |
Ted Yoho is a large animal veterinarian, small business owner and family man. He is also a Christian and conservative Republican who has called North Central Florida home for the last 35 years.

| Ron DeSantis |
Ron DeSantis is a native Floridian of humble beginnings who knows the value of hard work. To put himself through college, he swept floors, collected trash, moved furniture, parked cars, served as an electrician’s assistant, coached baseball clinics, and set up hospitality tents, earning a reputation as the most employable student at Yale University.A career government employee and Ivy League intellectual who is a member of the Tea Party and a Floridian who votes against storm aid. Oh, the hypocrisy. Almost as hypocritical as a Christian refusing to help others. Almost.
He received his bachelor of arts, magna cum laude with a major in history, from Yale, where he was a four year starter and the captain of the varsity baseball team. He received his juris doctor, cum laude, from Harvard Law School.
While studying at Harvard he earned a commission as a JAG officer in the United States Navy. During his naval service, he supported operations at the terrorist detention center in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and deployed to Iraq during the 2007 troop surge as an advisor to a U.S. Navy SEAL commander in support of the SEAL mission in Iraq.
There they are. Although we need to remember there are 65 others in Congress and a lot more Tea Party types who feel the same way.
So Yoho and DeSantis join Florida Senator Marco Rubio as voting against assistance for American victims of Hurricane Sandy.
One final photo of Rubio and Yoho...
Because birds of a feather, and all...
