Everyone knows how far we have yet to go in this country to realize the dream of racial equality that we remember Martin Luther King, Jr. for on this day. One only needs to listen to Rush Limbaugh or read the comment section of almost any Fox News report on our President to understand that when some say they yearn for the values of "the old days," we know exactly what they mean.
The struggle continues. It has to continue, because there is no turning back. Perhaps that in itself is progress, and should be enough to sustain us for now.
I think it's appropriate that we again listen to the words of Reverend Joseph Lowery from 4 years ago...

I guess it wouldn't be a true Obama inaugural without foegressives playing the race card. And on MLK of all days, Rick. Tsk tsk.
You deal 'em, we read 'em.

I don't think playing the race card means what you think it means Rick.
Oh, let me guess. You're going to tell me what I mean.
Like always!

We all know you foegressives have your daddy issues, but please try to stay on topic.
Please tell me how I'm the racist for opposing an "assault weapons" or magazine capacity ban.
Huh?
Dude, did you just wake up or something?
