A new farmer’s market opened up in South Miami last Saturday, Dec. 1st. The Southwest Community Farmers Market is a grassroots, volunteer operation organized by city’s Green Task Force, with the mission “to provide local, organic and sustainable food for the community.”B- Bark Bark Woof Woof comments on yesterday's announcement that the Supreme Court would hear arguments on issues involving gay rights.
Today, while it’s off the scale to compare the denial of marriage equality to slavery, the point is the same: while society may treat citizens differently and even unfairly, they cannot be denied their fundamental rights. The Constitution makes no provision for partial equality, and those rights and responsibilities must be available to all of us.
