SFDB Saturday Night Turndown Service

And the road
The old man paved
The broken seams along the way
The rusted signs, left just for me
He was guiding me, love, his own way
Now the man of the hour is taking his final bow
As the curtain comes down
I feel that this is just g'bye for now

Eddie Vedder, Man of the Hour

Love Eddie Vedder. I was offered tickets (for $180) but I didn't take it. Should have. Man of the Hour, was it written for "Big Fish?"

Yeppers.

You missed a great concert. The only thing that can compare to it that I've seen is a Springsteen show. Close to 3 hours of pure musical artistry. And he was loving it almost as much as the audience.

Damn. I am so sorry I missed it. I answered my own question after I wrote it, Wiki:
"After screening an early print of the film, Pearl Jam vocalist Eddie Vedder went home, wrote "Man of the Hour", and had a demo ready by the next day."

He is so incredibly gifted. Love Luck Man and Just Breathe.

oops forgot the "Y" Lucky Man

That's all I could keep thinking as I watched. And the conclusion of the concert was a display in and of its self.

Something I'll carry with me the rest of my life.
