SFDB Post Of The Week

It's time again to check out the best of the previous week's posts in the South Florida blogosphere. Let's see what rose to the top...

Runners-Up: Carlos Miller wrapped up his trial coverage by posting a complete compilation of the videos that followed the testimony and arguments. Sex and the Beach composed a nice profile of a former beauty pageant winner who now has a modeling school in Hialeah. Salty Eggs covered the New Times' pending move to Wynwood and put together an interesting discussion of their past digs and the direction of the paper.

WinnerSex and the Beach has a passion for fishing that goes back a number of years and recently she has been demonstrating just how fond she is of that sport. Her latest post on the subject, Fishing Adventures in Florida’s Ten Thousand Islands, takes us to the Southwest Coast of the Sunshine State for an exciting day of angling where the Big One doesn't get away.  Lots of photos and breathless narrative keeps this long post interesting and worthy of this week's SFDB Post of the Week recognition.

'Til next time, keep on blogging!

Wow Rick, thanks for the double nomination and the pick! Glad you enjoyed the narrative. I actually got an assignment to write a feature for Florida Sportsman, which will appear in the 2013 editorial calendar, but I'm not sure what month. The topic is women and fishing.

Congrats to the runner ups. Honored to be in great company.
