As you might expect, Art Basel related posts dominated the South Florida blogosphere last week but there was plenty of non-Basel stuff out there, too. It's that time of week to recognize the best of the week, readers.
Runners-Up: Hello, I'm Scott told us about his harrowing hit-and-run experience on his scooter that was as maddening as it was scary. Pop-up restaurants were the rage during Basel and Miami Dish posted a nicely imaged discussion about their significance as the big week ramped up. Political Cortadito did a fine job examining Hialeah's new and oppressive social media policy for its public employees.
Winner: South Florida Food and Wine's posts are always neatly arranged and informative so it's no surprise that Celebrity Reflection Sets Sail from Miami is that. What sets this post apart from the others, however, is its depth and the way everything just comes together and flows so well for the reader. There's plenty of detail and [pun alert!] a boatload of images that accompanies the narrative and makes the post so illuminating and interesting. Okay, I've run out of adjectives. It's a superb example of blogging that I want to recognize with this week's Post of the Week honors.
'Til next time, keep on blogging!

WOW! Thank you Rick....I always catch my breath for being recognized on SFDB; it meant the world to me when you put me on your blogroll back on July 1, 2010 and to this day, I am equally as grateful when I see SFFW listed. Thank you for all the recognition in your SFDB "spotlight", and it is truly wonderful to share the stage this week with the talents of Hello, I'm Scott, Miami Dish and Political Cortadito.
