Post-Thanksgiving posting in the South Florida blogosphere was strong which made for some difficult choices for this week's Post of the Week selection. Here's what I decided on.
Runners-Up: Sex and the Beach offered up a nice story that in some ways gives this writer a little hope for South Floridians and our ability to live and breathe together. Arterpillar shared her night hunting down art at the Art Scavenger Hunt in Fort Lauderdale in a post that featured a slideshow of the action. South Florida Food and Wine acted all Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous and shared a nicely imaged post that described her opulent Jet Set Dinner in Key West.
Winner: He found her. "He" being Long Play Miami and "her" being the long lost Miami soul singer named Della Humphrey. In Lost & Found: The Della Humphrey Experience, Long Play Miami documents his search, the find and includes the highly anticipated interview of the woman who you get the feeling would rather just stay lost. It's another fascinating, unique and wonderfully composed post from Long Play Miami that I enthusiastically award this week's SFDB Post of the Week recognition.
November Post of the Month voting is coming up!
'Til next time, keep on blogging!
