Your Morning Sift

Good morning.

Let's take a look at what happened in the South Florida blogosphere last night, shall we? Here's your morning Sift.

A- On Two Shores says that Marco Rubio, the supposed fix for all that ails the Republican Party, isn't all that.
Rubio may be attractive to those who think a last name ending in a vowel, an embellished immigrant story and a riding-the-fence Dream Act Lite proposal is all he needs to peel off some Latinos from the Dems. Well, first of all, it is well-known by anyone who has spent a minute Googling the issue that there’s a gulf between Cubans and the rest of Hispanics, and despite his protestations, Rubio’s appeal outside of Florida is debatable. After the record number of Cuban Americans voting for Obama, it’s not even clear if he can deliver Florida.
B- Some Florida Guy goes for a helicopter ride at the Stuart Air Show.
After I squeezed into the tiny cockpit, buckled up, and checked my camera settings we were off as gently and smooth as a hot air balloon. I'm not even sure where the engine was.
C- Obalesque welcomes a Conservative back to reality.

D- Bark Bark Woof Woof notes Republican Paul Ryan's excuse for losing the election: too many black people voted.
