What a gorgeous day. Walk in the morning. Wash the car in the afternoon. It's nice to do things outdoors and not have to drink 2 gallons of water afterwards. Monday looms large, however. Here's your evening Sift.

BMD: I feel like I have to explore these new meanings further, and because of the positive nature of what I’m discovering, I feel like sharing what I’ve learned. I recently began Egglosophies, a blog spun off the Egghead series, which aims to do exactly that, through more in-depth descriptions of the individual works and some explorative writing.
Adrianne honed her knife skills at the Mandarin Oriental Miami then in Napa Valley, California under Chef Thomas Keller and Chef Cindy Pawlcyn; it was the Napa experience that changed her perception of food forever and served as her muse for Chef Adrianne’s Vineyard Restaurant and Wine Bar and her cookbooks. Adrienne is all about “Maximum Flavor” and stimulating the senses; and not just in the kitchen but in her overall life as well with TV appearances and as spokesperson for Panda Kitchen and Bath but it is her foundation “Make It Count” that truly epitomizes Adrianne Calvo as she pushes life to the max and inspires all around her.C- Mitt Romney looks like he's on his way to be our next President, as Searching for Signs reports that more newspapers and neighbors are supporting him with signs.
UPDATE on yard sign count: Romney 56, Obama 32. More Obama signs in the past week but still heavy on the Romney side.D- Political Cortadito was there for the fiasco that ensued at the Miami-Dade Election HQ in Doral when they opened for early voting today.
After about two hours of processing during a four-hour window that was announced suddenly early Sunday, elections officials came outside and announced that the government office would close and those still standing in line had to go home. The reason: They were overwhelmed.E- There's a great Election Day movie showing at O Cinema tomorrow night and Beached Miami has the details.
But the closure only lasted about half an hour and people were still standing in line to vote after the last person was counted at 5 p.m.

If he searches on my block in South miami he'll probably book a flight out of here.
Searching for Signs should change the name to Searching for Clues.
