Starbucks Get Swamped

So I went by my favorite Starbucks yesterday to get my afternoon coffee and the place was swamped. Both inside and out, people were lined up far beyond what is normal for a Sunday afternoon. Turns out it was the last day of the Buy One, Get One Free holiday drink promotion that ran from the 15th to the 18th.

The barista, normally a good-natured guy, was absolutely surly to a few customers who had clearly never been inside a Starbucks store before. You could tell he was having a tough day.

Clearly not as tough as the employees at the below store who at one point were apparently looking at a drink queue like this (look closely, there's more on carts beyond the edge of the counter)...
