I know this is all in fun, so let's have some fun.
According to
Worth of Web, which says it comes to its calculations this way...
Worth Of Web is a free website valuation tool which estimates the traffic of a given website or blog, and calculates the income of this website, not the profit, assuming this website is only using advertising programs or similar affiliate programs to make money. In addition, the estimated worth above is for website only. You need to add the brand value to this website worth to determine the price tag.
Let's take a look at the value of some popular South Florida blogs...
 |
| $1,498 |
 |
| $4,654 |
 |
| $2,310 |
 |

Take out the one-sided political bias and just maybe we'll have a blog that will take off in viewership and value. All of us which visit the site certainly know that Rick puts significant time into the blog - Kudos to that.
Even with the political bias Zed is complaining about, SFDB is a great place to start catching up on the goings-on in South Florida.
I wonder how they arrive at revenue figures for blogs with no advertising. Any thoughts on that?
Wow... now I can order extra pepperoni on my pizza.
Hey, my crappy piece of the blogosphere is worth $2,755!
I think they're just establishing a baseline, Bill, and not saying that their ratings are applicable for those who carry advertising.
In any case, I tried several of these free services and the values were all over the place. Like I said, it's just something fun.

Their stats are wildly different than google analytics for my blog ... I like theirs better!

Time to quit. The blog I abandoned over 4 years ago is worth more than the one I post in 5 days a week. See ya.
