So I'll be taking a bit of a break for the next 10 days or so. No Sifts or Coolers or much of anything else during that time. You may catch me posting a photo or two or updating my Flickr (see right sidebar) or maybe even tweeting (@sfdb), but the blog is due for a bit of a breather, I think.
Yep, I'm heading out to Colorado for my annual sojourn and to cleanse myself of the Jurassic Park-like atmospheric conditions that South Florida enjoys this time of year. Some biking, a little hiking, a lot of sleeping in, getting up late and enjoying good meals and drink.
Of course I took a look at the what the weather looks like for the next 10 days...
Things will return to whatever normal is here around the 21st.

I just came back from Estes Park, blanket weather at night. It was wonderful.
Ah... I spent eleven summers in Estes Park. I miss the mountains and the view of the curve of the earth from the top of Longs Peak.

Happy for you, but dang! That's a long stretch without my nightly SFDB fix! Bundle up, don't let those Coloradoans give you the bizness about wearing sweatshirts in the dead of August, and DO hurry back! :)
