Good morning.
Welcome to Sunday morning, readers. I've gone through last night's postings and got your morning Sift together. Enjoy.
A- Political Cortadito reports that Cuban-American hardliner politicians skipped a planned political event that was held last night in Miami Lakes last night.
“Something happened with an event in the Keys,” said HML Republican Club president Manny Cid, an aide to State Rep. Eddy Gonzalez, who also didn’t show (but not for the same reason, Ladra suspects). “Something federal. Something important that they had to go to.”B- Roy Black opines on "prosecuting from the bench" and points a finger California way.
It does look, from the activity on Ros-Lehtinen’s twitter feed, that there was some CBS special with the three Congress members on the fight to save Aquarius Reef Base, the world’s “only undersea research station,” located in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary.
Fidler is clearly a prosecutor in black robes. The defense bar should root out overtly biased judges like this, but we don’t have the will to take them on. We are more interested in keeping friendly with them instead of exposing who they are.C- Another stellar Republican, at Eye on Miami.
