Take a look at him.
The NRA lobbies Congress for people like him. NRA members pay their dues so that his kind have easy access to firearms. This is the kind of people they insure can purchase high-powered weapons and their accessories so easily in the United States.
Look at him, NRA members. Don't make fun of him.
Are you proud?
You helped create him. You enabled him.
You helped arm him.
He is yours.
All yours.
And, rest assured, there will be more.

So the NRA also created whatever kind of mental disorder or breakdown he may have had that caused him to do what he did?
He also created explosives and bomb like devices. Where did he learn how to do that? Should be ban the Internet as well?
Sure, the NRA. But they could never do it without their friends and allies, like this guy:
“[The President] believes we need to take steps that protect Second Amendment rights of the American people but that ensure that we are not allowing weapons into the hands of individuals who should not, by existing law, obtain those weapons,” Mr. Carney said on Air Force One as the president flew to Colorado to meet with survivors of the mass shooting.
“If he Obama] had said almost anything else it would be used in a fund-raising appeal by the N.R.A.,” said Representative Earl Blumenauer, Democrat of Oregon. “There are very few political leaders that think there is any opportunity in a constructive way to do something in this political climate.” -- today's NYTimes
Cowards, frauds, and whores. So long as leadership and lawmakers cringe and cover-up like this, we can expect similar incidents on a regular basis.
Sorry -- I did not mean to insult whores with that attribution.
dice13, Jim Holmes would have never had a chance without the help of the NRA and the people who fund it. Everyone who is member has blood on their hands.
There is one thing that is very clear here, and one thing only: if Holmes had not had easy access to guns and munitions, this would have never happened. Everything else is debatable. That, however, is not.
You may want to reconsider the title of this post. It seems that our tax dollars, through an NIH grant, funded his rampage. Not the NRA.
Your blog, which I never heard of before today, is very short on facts and very long on vitriol, name-calling, and white-hot hatred for those who disagree with you...every single post, not just this one. Have a nice day.
The Anon@2:56 doth project too much, methinks.
This is some good reading for when you stop blaming the NRA. Good reading here: http://articles.sun-sentinel.com/2012-07-06/news/fl-gun-carry-permits-20120706_1_mental-illness-mental-health-nics
It may address something closer to the root cause of the problem.
I keep trying to come up with any reason why myself, or anyone else, would need a gun like an AR-15 other than to cause harm and great bodily injury and death.
We regulate so many other harmful things I just can't comprehend why we can't do something about these weapons.
And yes, cars kill people and knives kill people, even pencils can kill. But that's not their intended purpose. What other purpose do these weapons serve?
Legalize pot. Ban assault weapons!
George...nice of you to stop by. You just can't stay away, can you?
.
i don't understand how can a person be allowed to buy guns without being tested by a psychiatrist! What, are the people in government mentally ill??? Who allows that??
