A couple reactions from the South Florida blogosphere about the Supreme's ruling on the Affordable Care Act...

...and Some Blogging Guy...
Let me just say that when you start believing that a majority opinion of the United States Supreme Court is making America "socialist" or "communist," you've just jumped the shark and become the guy standing out in the middle of Biscayne Boulevard in rush hour with his arms flailing as he rants on about how everyone is after him.
He's out of his mind.
I wonder what their excuse is?

If the government taking over 1/4 of the economy is not socialist, what is?
It this any more irrational than liberals calling the SCOTUS' Citizens United ruling fascism?
Are these clowns available for kids' parties?
They just don't know their history.

I was among those who decried the decision of the SCOTUS to choose a president back in 2000, so I won't be hypocritical over this example conservative outrage (even if it is far less justified this time). But this is a law that was passed by Congress, and which has now been found to be Constitutional. You can reasonably complain about the politicization of the court, or about the makeup of Congress, but there hasn't been a coup.
Not since 2000, anyway.
Thanks Rick, for the free advertisement.
Oh, and I don't find it odd at all that leftists & Liberals reading a major leftist blog such as yours would disagree with half of America.
Duh.....
Got to go. Working with the Romney Campaign now to get that ass clown out of the White House. You will thank me in five years.
Peace.
Ha! It's so "Tea Party" of you, SBG.
Have at it! "Your guy" is on record as supporting the individual mandate only 6 years ago.
Bring on the death panels!!!

"Major leftist blog"? I'm impressed!
So was I, SFL! I'm hoping that will count for something in next year's New Times Best Blog competition.

Last night I went out with a friend who's close to the Obama campaign, and he said they were very energized after the decision was handed down.
If the loudest people who are ranting against Social Programs would give up their Social Security checks in protest and not sign on to Medicare, then I might listen to them. What they are doing reminds me of the vegetarians that wear leather shoes and belts and then rail about eating animals.
"Do as I say not as I do" doesn't cut it with credibility.
