Your Morning Sift

Good morning.

The SFDB Weekend Widget is up and running in the right sidebar so I'm guessing we gotta be getting close to Friday. You'll have plenty of time to check it out because the rest of the South Florida blogosphere was very quiet last night. Here's your morning Sift.

A- Bark Bark Woof Woof posts a nice quote from President Obama that he made during a recent Rolling Stone interview that defines the differences between the Democratic and Republican platforms.

B- Discourse wonders out loud if Marco Rubio has what it takes to be Vice President of the United States.
But what he doesn’t have is much national experience or much on his c.v. that suggests any particular thoughtfulness. And for me, at least, it is very hard to imagine he has yet accumulated the experience and knowledge that would make him someone you could comfortably imagine suddenly becoming President any time soon.

B: Disclaimer: I have not read the full post yet.
But... from these 2 sentences (and again I admit I don't know context), this sounds a lot like what people were critical of Obama about when he was running.
And he was in position to be Pres. not Vice-Pres.

B: Anon here,
I guess I should have read post first. Should have kept quiet and not removed doubt as to my foolishness as post addressed my concern.
Just goes to show how we live in a 'sound-bite' world where some of only read partial snippets and rush to judgment.
