The F.A.T. Village Art Walk will never be as big or as crazy or as carnivalesque as its sister to the South. And that's what makes it so nice.
Saturday night was this month's event and it was probably one of the better ones that I've been to recently. Things started off a little slow but by 8 it was rocking and rolling and there were lots of folks strolling through the exhibitions.
The kidz at C&I Studios [Facebook] were hosting a great Instagram exhibit.
And down at The Projects space, the Greener exhibit focused on art that was made from recycled materials and natural resources and/or depicted nature.
Like these Francisco Sheuat pieces that used recycled soft drink cans. Here's Caribbean Medley...
...and this flamingo that was also totally constructed from Coke cans.
Amazing stuff.
The F.A.T Village Art Walk is held on the last Saturday of every month. [Facebook]
