Good morning.
Things are pretty slow this morning in the South Florida blogosphere, but there still are some posts out there worth reading. After you're done with your morning Sift, check out the SFDB Weekend Widget in the right sidebar. Cheers!
A- We're beginning to start the "real" dry season in the swamp, according to Go Hydrology!, who includes one of his trademark videos.
B- Warbird airshow photos from Titusville are up at Nikon Miami.
C- The Miami Bike Scene files a report on the outcome of an FDOT meeting that was held Thursday night to discuss road projects on Red Road.
The consensus amongst the community seemed to be the lack of crosswalks and trees in the project plans. One important factor I don't recall being discussed was the possibility of reducing the existing speed limit to 35mph. To my knowledge it will remain 40mph which I feel is slightly too fast for a road which will accommodate a bike lane and traverse several residential neighborhoods, parks, and schools.D- Random Pixels posts an email that he received yesterday from CBS4 about the parking situation at the new stadium.
