Your Evening Sift

And the weekend has begun. Don't forget about the SFDB Weekend Widget in the right sidebar as it might help you plan your next several days. Enjoy your evening Sift.

A- Joe the Plumber is running for Congress and, like most Republicans, can't take the heat...at Bark Bark Woof Woof.
Hey, Joe, you're in the big leagues now. This is where anything you ever said, anyone you ever talked to, anyone you ever stood next to at a bus stop, and anyone you ever hugged is fair game. And don't blame the Democrats; it was Karl Rove, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Michelle Malkin, Ann Coulter, and the Mighty Wurlitzer of Fox News that turned gotcha journalism into the new norm.
B- Get your dogs away from the Miami Circle, says Eye on Miami.

C- Coconut Grove Grapevine shows us a pizza buffet lunch that looks rather awesome...or maybe I'm just hungry.
For $14 per person, you get all you can eat pizza, salad bar and soft drinks (sodas and iced teas) and two hours of free valet parking is part of the deal, too! Spartico is located inside the Mayfair Hotel & Spa lobby at 3000 Florida Avenue, you can enter through the side on Virginia Street. It's easy to find, the doors are wide open and you can't help but smell the pizza as you go by.
D- Random Pixels explains how parking problems have always seemed to haunt the Orange Bowl site.

E- Shorter Gun Free Zone...
Racism does not exist in America and fathers who speak Spanish can not have black sons.
F- Great set of photos from Hank3's recent appearance at the Culture Room from Salty Eggs.

G- If you're in the mood for bulk Italian in Key West, Florida Keys Girl has the place.
The tortellini al forno, cheese filled and baked with red sauce and loads of vegetables was quite delicious. The tortellini were plump and flavorful and, yes, the portion was so big we both ate plenty of it and I still had lunch the next day. Oh, and it was only $14.95.
H- Burger Beast recommends the Fugazza Pizza at Loven Ovens in Medley.
The Fugazza Pizza is double layered thin crust pizza with a triple portion of Mozzarella Cheese and topped with their spiced sauce and thin raw onion slivers.
I- It's CSA Share Week #14! What are you getting? Redland Rambles knows.

J- Eat It, Miami explains why Taqueria El Mexicano is like a real cheap Mercadito.
The tortillas are small and made of corn. The pozole is a little spicy and rich and flavored with tons of fat and has large hominy pieces. The tacos come in many varieties like cochinita pibil and al pastor. There are lots of other menu items that I'd like to try like their tortas and burritos and enchiladas. There will be many more opportunities because I intend to go back very soon. You can eat well for about 15 bucks at this place, even if you're a fairly big eater.
