Good morning.
After a less than satisfactory night of sleep, I'm very time-challenged this Hump Day morning. But I will take the time to warn you to stay away from SW 8th Street and 106 Ave this morning. During rush hour? WTF is Shell thinking? Enjoy your morning Sift, readers.
A- Obalesque is having his imaginary conversations again. This time with the Broward Muslim who thinks he is perfect for the Republican Party even thought they don't.
“Certainly. This is why I don’t understand their concern about my alleged ties to terrorism. They’re not actually opposed to terrorism itself — only certain kinds against certain people. It’s obvious to me, anyway, that the Republican party of Florida would be receptive to attacks on physicians and Planned Parenthood clinics, for example, if that’s what it takes to stop baby killing abortions. The end justifies the means. Terrorists understand this, and I suspect Republicans do as well."B- Man or Maniac? offers his counterpoint to my distaste for pit bulls.
C- October's classical events calendar is up at South Florida Classical Review.
D- Two dozen new photos are up at The Street.

A -- The interviews with newsmakers I periodically report in my blog are not imaginary. I reduce the transcipts of genuine conversations, some quite lengthy, as appropriate for the medium, focusing on the newsmakers' own words. It's usually a challenge finding anything cogent.
Now excuse me as the short yellow bus is outside to whisk me an Eeyore off to the Hundred Acre Woods for Christopher Robin's birthday party. (Full report tomorrow.)
