What I actually missed most of all was the communal aspect, the ability to bring everyone together at a couple tables to share in the experience. We did do smaller communal tables for a few of the services, but it's not quite the same - even if, as our dinners now typically include 35-45 people, it's impossible to spend time with everyone.F- Miami Spice is ending but Broward's Dine Out Fort Lauderdale is just beginning, explains South Florida Food and Wine.
As one door closes another opens, and Fort Lauderdale begins its restaurant promotion program, Dine Out Lauderdale on October 1 and runs through November 10. Similar to Miami Spice, restaurants in Fort Lauderdale and surrounding cities will offer 3-course dinners for $35; eight of the 41 participating restaurants will be offering 4-courses.G- The Green Parrot is rooting on Diana Nyad as she swims from Cuba to the Keys.

We all got to tell our stories, all of them laced with good humor and tales of accomplishment, but also leavened with experiences of life. What amazed me was the ease at which we were able to bring things long forgotten back to the fore; some good memories, some bad; some comic, some tragic. We have all faced the ravages of time, of disappointment, but also joy and blessings.
