The "It Gets Better" project, started by funky sex columnist Dan Savage, has touched many people, and has resulted in the uploading of videos by people as widely diversified as Colbert, Obama, Hillary Clinton, Larry King, and the casts of many Broadway hits.
It addresses not only LGBT youth, but anyone having a tough time during their teen years, for whatever reason. The overriding message is -- of course -- it gets better.
