Your Morning Sift

Good morning.

TGIF, readers. Make sure you check out the first item in today's Sift if you're the least bit curious about the guys running Beached Miami. I actually had them reversed and thought Jordan was Robby. Thanks for clearing that up, MB 411! Enjoy your morning Sift.

A- Meet the guys behind Beached Miami at Miami Beach 411.
Jordan Melnick, the writer behind the site, the guy with a masters degree in Journalism from Northwestern University in Chicago, said he does freelance journalism and private tutoring.

After all, he was a schoolteacher in North Miami for three years before he left town to attend graduate school.

And Robby Campbell, the photographer, videographer and cartoonist behind the site, the guy with a degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston, said he runs his own music company.
B- Speaking of Beached Miami, check out their latest people-on-the-street video that was filmed at the last Art Walk.

C- Miamism reviews a couple homemade mojitos made with some special Canary Island rum.

D- Remember all the hoopla that the Right made about ACORN and how Congress eventually defunded them because of it? Well, it took a while but as Bark Bark Woof Woof tells us, ACORN has been vindicated and the Right has been shown to be nothing but liars...again.
