SFDB's A Few Moments At The Ryan Humphrey: Fast Forward Event
I meandered on by the Ryan Humphrey: Fast Forward exhibition at the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood on Saturday afternoon and watched some kids and some BMX legends exercise their bikes in the hot and humid parking lot outside...
...and the air-conditioned inside, where the works of Ryan Humphrey graced the walls along with some pretty mean looking bikes.

I attended the opening on Friday night -- very cool, especially from the perspective that these daredevils were wheeling around a room that began its existence as the chapel of a funeral parlor, then converted to museum space. An ironic and edgy morph, perfect for the Hollywood Art and Culture Center.
PS The thud of spilled bones on the cement floor was painful just to listen to. I don't want to know what it sounded like from inside their helmets.
