R.I.P. Clarence

Last night we lost The Big Man. "We," of course, being the generation of the 70's and 80's that was fortunate enough to have the chance to catch Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band in concert.

You youngsters have no earthly idea what you missed.

Godspeed, Clarence. You left a large footprint.

So bummed about this. The E Street band won't be the same without the Big Man. They could replace Little Steven, but I'd almost rather see them disband than to hear Tenth Avenue Freeze Out without Clarence Clemons.

The Big Man had a big place in my heart. RIP

Actually, the younger generation had just started to see and appreciated Clarence because of his work on Lady Gaga's latest single and his appearance on her performance during American Idol.
It was interesting to me on the twitterverse, to see how many younger people were talking about him because of this.
