But it's still way over the line, and I'm glad to see that he's got his ass kicked for it.The apology was the correct and the civil thing to do here. When liberals find themselves lying in the same gutter that conservatives like Rush Limbaugh, Pamela Geller, and Erick Erickson wallow in, it's time to get up up, clean yourself off and move on.

"Talk slut?" He has to apologize for throwing a pebble that tiny at a target so small? They're colleagues in the same entertainment business. Neither one is elected or in public service, both gladly peddle their dignity for publicity, and literally everything they say has no further meaning than to sell something for the people who pay them to say it.
Open your eyes, friends. The "apology" has the same significance as the "insult" and serves the same purpose. It's what passes show biz in the 21st century.
