Town Hall Meetings: Compare And Contrast

The woman who was escorted out after yelling [and filming] was South Florida blogger and liberal talk show host Nicole Sandler. She was subsequently arrested and spent the night in Broward County Jail.

This is not to debate the level of civility contained in either clip. I think we can all agree that it's a shame what our politics has degenerated into these days.

But I think it's amazing the barrage of insults that the Democrat somehow managed to weather and survive back in 2009 while a decorated former Army soldier like Republican Al West who respectfully served his country has to let the Broward S.O. do his heavy lifting for him after receiving less than a minute of shouted questions from big, bad Nicole Sandler.

That's some bravado, Al.

But then again, maybe he's just been neutered.
