SFDB selects its Post of the Week by going back and reviewing all the Sifts that we've done over the past 7 days. We find the best post of the week and note the runners ups as we judge them to be.
Sheesh, another week where the PotW finalists were so close that it took me some serious contemplation to arrive at my decisions. Here's what I came up with.
Runners-Up: Ipanemic's job delivering food lends itself to great blogging material as he shared more of his daily observations in The Delivery. The remains of a serial arsonist's efforts on Miami Beach provided the content for a Beached Miami post that showed us images you couldn't get anywhere else...including the local mainstream media. Miami Favs continues her uplifting blog of great things to do and visit in Miami but I thought her perspective of Oleta River State Park was particularly well done.
Winner: So you don't know what mofongo is and you've never been to Jimmy'z Kitchen in Wynwood. Sex and the Beach does a great job getting you familiar with both in Mofongo Madness at Jimmy'z in Wynwood. The post is sprinkled with ample photos and flows very nicely as we learn about Caribbean food and the man who creates it at Jimmy'z. Articulate and informative will get you the SFDB Post of the Week every time, as it does this week for Sex and the Beach.
