We run separate polls in selecting two PotM's. SFDB reader's will vote for the Reader's Choice and the panel of 15 Editor's Choice bloggers will vote for the Editor's Choice.
You will find the list of SFDB Post's of the Week from August below. Voting will last through next Thursday, September 16th, at 9:00 PM. The winners will be pronounced Post of the Month and given their own special post.
Here's a chance for all SFDB readers to get involved and tell us what post you enjoyed the most. So without further delay, I present the August nominees to check out and consider [click on the "Nominee #" to be taken to the post].
Nominee #1: "Sprocket"
After the passing of his dog, Holy Crap penned a warm and heartfelt tribute to Dalmatian and long time buddy, Sprocket.
Nominee #2: "Huff Bridge Drive"
Last month, Some Blogging Guy loaded up his wife and pointed his vehicle down a back road and once again took readers along for the ride that was full of wildlife and adventure. The resulting post is a good example of what blogging should be
Nominee #3: "Photo Protest at Miami-Dade Metrorail..."
Carlos Miller did a great job documenting a protest that he recently organized and promoted at Metrorail. Lots of supporters showed up and Carlos used bits and pieces of the photos and videos made and taken by some of the attendees to construct a fine post
Nominee #4: "A Fishing Stream Runs Through It"
This post captured Bark Bark Woof Woof's Sunday fly fishing trip to a small Ohio brook with his father and reminded us that it's not always how many fish you catch on such trips but the company that is shared. The post contains some excellent writing and is generously supplemented with clear photos.
So there are your four nominees. Take your time to read and consider them and then head down to the below poll and cast your vote to help determine SFDB's Post of the Month for August.
