One has to wonder...In a two-day swing by U.S. Senate candidate Marco Rubio through the Panhandle, the most conservative part of Florida, perhaps it was inevitable that the question would come up. At a Republican club meeting last night in Miramar Beach, a young man asked Rubio whether he thought President Barack Obama has a valid American birth certificate. After he was safely away from his constituents, Rubio clarified...
"I don't know the answer to that,'' Rubio said. "He's been sworn in already...If someone had evidence they should have presented it a long time ago."
Pressed after the meeting about whether he has any doubts about Obama's citizenship, Rubio would only say,"I have not see anything that says he was not born in the U.S."Is Marco Rubio that desperate for votes that he feels that he needs to appeal to the fringe elements of the Radical Right, or does he really not know whether our President is a U.S. citizen?
Either position is rather disturbing and it may be one reason why the South Florida Diaz-Balart brothers endorsed Charlie Crist way back in July.

Is Marco Rubio a valid US citizen? He doesnt look like one.
Despite my best instincts not to engage racists and xenophobes too early in the morning, how does a "valid US citizen" looks like, Anon? Can he or she look black, jewish, italian, asian or latino? Or only macrocephalic cromagnons like you fit the look?
Rubio is definitely a birther since birthers aren't just only those who believe Obama wasn't born in the US, but also the ones who believe there are nutjob votes to mine. He gave the acceptable wink wink answer for ultraconservatives. Rubio needs all the votes he can get in the primary and he's going to get them in the only place he can.
Which I absolutely, 100% support. Rubio for Senate!
Alex, I think your cynicism is correctly applied here. But it still doesn't make Marco a birther. Birthers have more froth around their mouths.
Anon = Anus.
Judge Land and now judge Carter, smack down the crazies (case dismissed), poor little Birthers.
Not even “Fake News” Bill O’Reilly believes the crazies, how funny.

To all the birthers in La, La Land, it is on you to prove to all of us that your assertion is true (TOUGH WHEN YOU KEEP LOSING CASES), if there are people who were there and support your position then show us the video (everyone has a price), either put up or frankly shut-up. I heard Orly Taitz, is selling a tape (I think it’s called “Money, Lies and Video tape”). She is from Orange County, CA, now I know what the mean when they say “behind the Orange Curtain”, when they talk about Orange County, the captial of Conspiracy Theories. You know Obama has a passport, he travel abroad before he was a Senator, but I guess they were in on it.
In my opinion the Republican Party has been taken over the most extreme religious right (people who love to push their beliefs on others while trying to take away the rights of those they just hate) and that’s who they need to extract from their party if they real want to win. Good Luck, because as they said in WACO, “We Ain’t Coming Out”.
I heard that she now wants to investigate the “Republican 2009 Summer of Love” list: Assemblyman, Michael D. Duvall (CA), Senator John Ensign (NV), Senator Paul Stanley (TN), Governor Mark Stanford (SC), Board of Ed Chair, and Kristin Maguire AKA Bridget Keeney (SC).
The “Broward-Palm Beach New Times” has posted a couple of blogs, including “Can I Also Be Sentenced to House Arrest in a House Like Rubinstein’s?” and “Crist Walks Into Democrat-Laid Health-Care Trap”, that we think might interest you.

Thank you
With those quotes, calling him that oh-so-vile name "birther" is a monumental leap of Shusterian proportions.
Leave it to a babalu reader to not read the title of the post.
Good job, Bijland.
