If you bothered to listen to your own Glorious Leader's address to Congress, he made reference to Republican initiatives himself, such as tort reform. Listening to the Glorious Leader is, of course, too difficult for many Americans who are hypnotized into zombies by his voice.
Secondly, for the sake of argument, even if Obamacare were the only plan front and center, where is it written we, ergo, must adopt the plan, even if the plan sucks and will bankrupt the country? Guess what, just because the Glorious Leader says something or wants something, it doesn't mean you have to do it.
You see, KofC, while you express a desire to have meaningful debate here about the issues, you continue to use meaningless terms like "Your Glorious Leader" that does nothing but make people take you less than seriously from that moment on. So whatever you bothered to say from midway through the first sentence is meaningless to me and, probably, to anyone else who is interested in a rational exchange of ideas.
I know, I know. You're saving it all for Discourse and your own blog. Great. I'm just pointing it out.
Just out of curiosity, how, exactly, will the plan bankrupt the country? I mean, more than the wars in the middle east, the GOP tax cuts, and the 700 billion dollar Bush bailout have already done?
Oh, and KoC? I'd love to see YOUR plan. A smart guy like you must have a great solution, and as a former health care adminstrator, I'd love to read it.
I asked already, C.L.J. KofC parts with his vast wisdom only at Discourse. I guess you'll have to go there in order to find out what he thinks or what links he has to offer.
Apparently liberals aren't the only ones who have difficulty understanding the "Glorious Leader" because He didn't say "tort reform", KoC. He said "malpractice reform" which is not the same. Malpractice suits are a very small percentage of torts, so it was a small bone to toss to you guys.

Oh c'mon, C.L.J., those don't count.

One man's "Glorious Leader" is another man's "Little Limbaughs", clown car and crybaby photos. Stones, glass house, etc.
Ahh, KofC, but then I'm not the one pining for less "sniping" and more meaningful exchanges.
I've said it once, I'll say it a hundred times: you get what you give here at SFDB.
