Well, we're here. It's Friday and the blogosphere is slowing down just like it always does this time of the week. Enjoy your morning Sift as we ease on into the weekend.

You would be hard pressed to find a rock guitarist who hasn’t played a Gibson Les Paul at some point. Even me – and I’m not a musician by any stretch – the first guitar I bought that I never learned to play was a Les Paul copy.

B- Miamism celebrates her birthday today. You know what to do.

C- Superbee likes the new burger joint at Bay & 18th on the Beach but in order to find out its name, it appears as though you'll have to go there yourself. [Oh, silly me. It's called "Burger and Beer Joint."]

This place kicks 8oz' @$$! SRSLY. I'm entirely too full, and entirely too salted to really dissect the magic that appears to be happening there, but I'm happy it's 1) A hamburger place; 2) A bar; 3) A Lounge; 4) A pool bar; and 5) an ice cream shop, all within my reasonable-walking distance (not far.)

Drawbacks: A little loud.
