But Carlos has moved to Santo Domingo. And South Beach will never be seen through the lens of a camera the same way again.
This photo from 2006 remains one of my all-time Fever favorites. Good luck, Carlos.

-thanks to Ipanemic for the heads up on this lousy news.

I'm definitely going to miss seeing Miami through his eyes. The guy is a master and has been, for me, a HUGE inspiration. Good luck, Carlos.
I'm sorry to see Carlos leave, but DR is his homeland. And besides, he should be photographing the whole world, not just Miami. I hope we'll be seeing more of his work from across the globe.
I will miss his photos, but maybe he will send some gems your way from Santo Domingo that you can share with us.
yeah, that's gonna suck but at least we get to see DR through his lens.
damn, this can't be life.
While I think he was a halfway decent photographer, I think he had pretty much shot his wad a long time ago.
After all, his only two subjects were Lambos and chicks in lycra dresses and spiked heels.
Decent amateur photographer but not ready for the big leagues.
Dammmmmn!, how am I gonna get my fix of the most luscious leg's in the country when I freezing my butt off up here in Brooklyn???
Could care less about the Lambo's and Ferrari's!
Come back Carlos, come back!!!!
