Your Morning Sift

Good morning.

It's Friday but, more importantly, it's National Donut Day! Make sure you stop by your favorite Dunkin Donut or Krispy Creme to join in on the festivities. Here's your glazed morning Sift...

A- On My Block gives us our Hialeah Moment of the Day.

B- Swampstyle opines on President Obama's visit to the Middle East in his own special way.
It is one thing to sleep with the enemy ( bush tried n failed) but it is quite another to dance the tango of international pomp and circumstance and come out a winner by the end of the work-week.
C- In the market for a luxury short sale condo priced at $1 million or above? Yeah, me too. Here's a list of the best deals that are available right now, according to Miami Condo Investments.

D- Bark Bark Woof Woof shares his thoughts on President Obama's Cairo speech.
What I think, though, that will resonate the longest from this speech -- and from whatever actions follow -- is that America will no longer hide behind the charade of "honest broker" while at the same time not really being one: taking Israel's side no matter what they do and failing to recognize the simple fact that the Palestinians have as much a right to a homeland as does anyone else. Basically the president was telling all sides in the Middle East that the time for finger-pointing and blaming is over. He also made it clear that the back-room dealing is also over, basically, because [...] once you are perceived as being on one side or the other, no one buys the "honest broker" line anymore.
