The Real Howler

Back on February 1st of this year, I commented on a Leonard Pitts column in which he discussed "party loyalty" and how some people tend to put the interests of their political party before the interests of their country. During that discussion, I wrote...
The right conveniently overlooks that on a consistent basis, Democrats are sometimes harder on their own than conservatives are.
This sparked an immediate response from Babalu's George Moneo, pictured above right, who promptly awarded me the First Annual Babalu Howler of the Year Award, stating...
Ladies and gentlemen, the unvarnished stupidity of that statement, the blatant hypocrisy, what with the Barney Franks, Chris Dodds and assorted tax scandals brewing in the current Administration, is truly breathtaking.

The Kool-Aid cocktails are ready. Take a sip...

Fast forward to this Thursday when the very liberal, and sometimes loony, Ted Rall posts a scathing column on President Obama in which he suggests that the President should resign.

You'll never guess what blog and writer alerted me to Rall's column. No, I take that back. Of course you will. Because many of you know what a duplicitous and hypocritical bunker of BS that Babalu and in particular, George Moneo, are.

Sometimes I truly believe that the opinions that are formed and expressed over there are the result of nothing more than involuntary synaptic responses that cause fingers to dance across keyboards and compose some of more half-baked blog posts that you'll find in the South Florida blogosphere.

Ted Rall wrote this on Thursday and no one really noticed it until today. So far the reaction from the reasonable left has been "enh."

Rush Limbaugh farts and Babalu thinks it's Xavier Cugat in stereo.

One of these things is not like the other.

I agree Conservatives are pig headed ignoramuses that can't be reasoned with.

On the other hand, as a good liberal I believe that Obama can go to North Korea and Iran and reason with them, make peace.

My psychiatrist asked me how I could believe that my republican neighbor can't be reasoned with, but an insane fascist ruler can be. I told him he just doesn't understand Obama, to shut up and prescribe me my happy pills.

Do you think I can sue him?

Sincerely,
the Happy prOgressive

Anon: You haven't finished up with your inanity at the other post. Now act like a good anonymous commenter and finish up over there before getting started over here.

Good boy.

I give you just enough so that you might take joy and pleasure in completing thoughts for yourself.

Perhaps one day courage will come to you.
