SFDB August Post of the Month: The Winner

Volunteering at Fairchild: Butterfly Days

Wow. It took a couple weeks to get one but I'm happy to announce that after the poll was shut down on Friday night and all the votes were tabulated, we finally have a winner for SFDB Post of the Month for August.

Volunteering at Fairchild's Butterfly Days it is, and deservedly so I might add. Just a great composition that was well-researched and photographed. Bloggers should take a look at this post as a model for good, solid blogging.

I want to thank all the nominees for their wonderful contributions and I also want to thank all the folks who took the time out to vote for their favorite post. The PoTM is dependent on reader participation so it's definitely something I want to recognize.

Just a reminder that you can review all the past Post of the Months and the current Post of the Week at the bottom of the right sidebar.

Stay tuned, because we're already at the end of September and will be deciding another PotM sometime later this week.

Thanks to Rick and all the readers who participated. I'm honestly very flattered and happy so many enjoyed the post.

Congratulations, Maria!

With the amount of writers that Rick follows, winning "Best Post of the Month" is quite an achievement.
