Senator John McCain Is Unpatriotic....

...by Republican standards.

See if you can tell why.

From Friday's debate, here's a photo of Obama...

...and here's a photo of McCain...

No flag pin. I know. Shocking.

Now under Republican Blogger Rules, we should immediately start questioning John McCain's patriotism and begin insinuating that he's a Communist. However, not being a Republican blogger and having a little more sense than Fred Flintstone, I think I'm just going to sit back and wait for the guys who are Republican bloggers to finish tapping into the common sense of "the great Ted Nugent" and see what their reaction is to 'ole Gramps forgettin' to verify to the world that he indeed loves the United States.

I'm betting that they're going to give Johnny a bye on this one and concentrate on how they can convince everyone that Bible Spice is going to kick Biden's 36-Years-In-The-Senate Butt next Thursday.

I'm with nonne; "Bible Spice" is a winner, and I will use it in reference to Gov. Sarah "Bible Spice" Palin henceforth.

Actually, I think "Bible Spice" is a little insulting--to the Spice Girls, at least. I mean, the act that the Spice Girls put on was an honest one in the sense that they never pretended to be anything other than empty-headed pop stars, the female equivalent of New Kids on the Block. But they gave that act everything they had and were never pretentious about it.

Sarah Palin, however, is in way over her head, and yet wouldn't admit it even at gunpoint. She actually believes that she's qualified to be the VP, and potentially, the President of the United States. That takes a fundamental lack of honesty about oneself, which is something the Spice Girls never had.

And let me say this--we haven't seen the last of Sarah Palin, no matter how this election goes. She'll be running for 2012, even if McCain loses 40 states, and she'll have a built-in base to do it from, too.

Thanks for sticking up for us, Incertus.

How much do you want to bet that Moneo gets his economic advice from "Rowdy" Roddy Piper.

Palin running in 2012 will be the best mistake the Republicans make. But I doubt it. By now they know it was a lousy pick, good for a few weeks of invigorating the base, and they'll be washing their hands of the whole mess, blaming the McCain camaign.

BTW Rick, aren't you scared? Poodle is going to sic Ted Nugent on you. I don't know what's funnier, that he links to Ted Nugent's "good sense" or he actually believes he'll be his enforcer. Hilarious.
