John McCain was scheduled to be on the David Letterman show tonight. However, because of the Wall Street crisis, he personally called Letterman and canceled, telling him he must be there for his country.
So Letterman then replaced McCain with Keith Olbermann. However, while he is interviewing Olbermann, Letterman learns that McCain is actually three blocks away getting prepared to be interviewed by Katie Couric.
They even do a live feed into the CBS studios which showed somebody applying makeup on McCain. You can’t make this stuff up.

Fantastic. I mean, if there was anybody wondering why Palin won't talk to the press... and it's only going to get worse.
That was a whole bunch of empty words and an embarrassing display of ignorance. I don't blame McCain's people for keeping her away from the media.
Yeah but she has great boobs, so I'm voting for her.
She is horrible. Just horrible.
