SFDB selects its Post of the Week by going back and reviewing all the Sifts that we've done during the past 7 days. We find the best post of the week and note the runners ups as we judge them to be.
Nine posts made it to final consideration for this week's PotW, however, determining the winner wasn't that difficult for me because the winner was just that good. No, sorting out the runners ups was the challenging part of this week's adventure. Here we go.
Winner: On the day that Florida resumed executing people, Smashed Frog took a look back at Ted Bundy, one of Florida's most notorious criminals, and shared with us the impact he had on her life then and how he remains with her today. It's a powerful, thought-provoking post and that is why Revisiting Ted Bundy is this week's SFDB Post of the Week.
Runners Ups: If cupcakes are your thing, Mango&Lime posted a wonderfully written and photographed entry on Miami's best cupcakes that she called How ’bout ‘em cupcakes. Carlos Miller plays gracious host to a few visiting M.I.T. students and shows them a little bit of Miami in If I can make it there, I'll make it anywhere. And babalu's Val Prieto pens an endearing post about selling mangoes as a kid in Miami in Mangos and memories.
Well, there you have it. Looking forward to another great week of posting, folks!

Thank you so much. I appreciate you taking the time to revisit Bundy with me. All these years later, I shudder at how much worse it--how many more young women could have lost their lives at his hands--during the "do anything" seventies.
Again, many thanks for reading this post and Smashed Frog.

Thank you! I'm flattered.
