Democratic congressional candidate Joe Garcia has a blog.
Welcome to our official campaign blog.
We know that Washington is broken. Lobbyists set the agenda and the voice of regular folks get drowned-out in the process. The goal of our campaign is to change that and put the needs of South Florida's working families first.
That's why we created this blog. Whether it be to chat about news or current events, we want you to use this as a place to share your thoughts, ideas and concerns with our campaign.
The blog was launched this weekend so there's only a couple posts and a few links to some YouTube videos they call "Joe TV."
Should be interesting to see how Garcia uses this medium to communicate his message and win the election in November.

Someone [I think we all know who] has created a parody Garcia website on Blogger. If you find the language and the content offensive like I did, make sure you "flag it" in the Blogger toolbar at the top of the page.
******
Commenter "Anonymous," who arrived here via the website's statcounter, asks me if I understand what the "flag" button does. I sure do. I wouldn't want my child or anyone's kid reading the vulgarities on that website, so I flagged it.
I just would like to note that the moniker "Joedilocks" is used only by one group of people that I know of. In addition, the language and style, or lack of it, fits them perfectly.

It appears as though the administrator for the parody blog has disabled the Blogger navbar, contrary to Blogger's terms of service. You can still report a Blogger terms of service violation here.

Joe is also on Facebook.
Do you know what flagging a blog on blogger does?
When was the last time you used the "next blog" button?
Blogger is becoming the AOL of the blogosphere.
I'm sure glad Wordpress doesn't have that function.
Carlos: it doesn't mean they yank it down just because some people complain. They review it and if it really is that bad then what they usually do is put up some type of screen that warns readers of objectionable content.
You really have to be a spammer or be posting some harsh stuff to get the boot.
.
Whatever. It's preaching to the choir and it says more about the intentions of the author(s) of the blog than it says about Joe.
Satire only works when it makes a valid point. In this case, things like "I'm gonna have to try to convince a bunch of white and black people that I'm not a s***" all it does is acknowledging that Mario Diaz Balart and hardline politicians can only get elected by playing identity politics. Who's divisive now? And like that goes the rest of the blog.
It's quite telling that the blogger who wrote this would call for the silencing of another blogger with which he does not agree.
Fortunately Blogger's policies don't allow for the removal of blogs simply because someone doesn't like what's written there.
I've reported a Terms of Service violation for the "Joedilocks" blog to Blogger.
The most recent post used the word "sp*c" in referring to the subject of parody in the context of the ethnic stereotype. This is a violation of Blogger's Content Policy under "hateful content".

In addition, the last two posts at the "Joedilocks" blog uses offensive language such as "f**king bulls**t", "f**king pr**ks", "co**sucker" and "a**hole".
If you feel that Blogger should take a closer look at the "Joedilocks" blog, then report it here:

Actually, what's really telling, Joedilocks, is that, once again you came to this site via the website's statcounter. This time it was using a D.M.B & B server. D.M.B. & B. is a large advertising agency. Gee, who uses the moniker Joedilocks, has the motivation to create a site like this, has a moronic sense of humor, uses vulgar language and who makes a living in the advertising industry?
You want to talk about anonymous blogging, Gomez? Really?
.
Thanks for the post, Rick!
