Something about the sultry, stormy rhythm of South Florida summers that make me want to lay around all day and do absolutely nothing. I still was able to put together your evening Sift, however...
A- Folks up in Broward are having fun finding Tilefortlauderdale's tiles. Today, she dropped off two. Emma was left at the Southland Shopping Center on State Road 84 and Sara was deposited in the Starbucks ladies room on SE 17th Street. In a related post, Restaurant Gal finds Personal Fairy...
I maneuvered around in the tiny bathroom, trying to be very quiet as I opened the under-sink cabinet door. I scanned the back, then the left side. No tile. I glanced at the right side, and just as I was about to close the door and call it another unfulfilled search, I saw the rough edge behind the yellow top of a can of a lemon-something cleaning product. I slid it out.
My first surprise was how large it was. My second was how colorful it was. My third was that I had actually found it! I flushed the toilet for effect and lamented how this beautiful tile was way too large to even pretend to hide in my purse. So I simply carried it out with me. What the hell, right?

Yes, there is an upside. For me personally, I've turned down about a dozen offers this month to go here or there. Talked myself out of extra things I [do not] need. Visiting friends in Broward and beyond are not an option anymore. Waiting until tomorrow to buy my dog food, when I can buy it now and save the trip. A/C - what's A/C? Unless I'm giving someone a ride, that button has dust on it.
No more dark chocolate, soy puddings, vegan burritos, fruit juices. Nothing but fruit, vegetables and whole foods now. It's amazing how much crap you eat just because it's there. You can get by on five meals a day, but I was eating 7 and 8. Not necessary. A 1/2 a watermelon will fill you up just as much as a giant veggie burger and fries will. Except you will be running to the bathroom for two hours, but if you're home who cares.

F - Actually Rick, I don't even have to look all that hard for the mistakes. But there are so many that even Stevie Wonder can find them!
:) - Thanks Rick. When are we all getting together again. It's been a while, yeah?
Inga: There was something at Tobacco Road recently, but I was out of town. Don't know when the next one is scheduled.
